  1. The statue is a great symbol for the country’s unity. However, the issues concerning the locals are important too. And it’s great that you acknowledged those. I guess, what the people can do now is to make the most out of the outcome of the project 😊

  2. It’s a shame that it did have to affect the local’s land and from their letter it does seem clear that they are against the project and the tourists that will come to visit this statue. Also, the cost of the statue is really high, those funds could have gone to helping the local communities maybe.

  3. On the 143rd anniversary of his birth, a likeness of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at 182 metres tall will be unveiled as the largest statue in the world bar none. … That figure is not the most mind-boggling concerned with the construction of the Statue of Unity, built on Sadhu Island, in the western state of Gujarat.

  4. While I am in awe of that statue and what it stands for–I definitely feel that maybe they could have found a better place for it that did not disrupt the lives of people who lived and made money from that land.

  5. I don’t think any of my Indian colleagues have seen this statue yet as they would have mentioned it by now. It looks enormous and seems to dwarf everything around it.

  6. First time to hear and to see this statue. I understand that they want to give to a person who bring so much effort to unite a country with so many differences but I also understand that we should pay attention to others most especially locals in helping them to have a good life.

  7. Wow, that is so tall and that such a huge money. I am happy because they want to give respect to Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel but it makes me sad that there’s a lot of farmers affected in doing this project.

  8. I haven’t heard of The Statue of Unity before. I think it’s a wonderful symbol, but I wish so many farmers hadn’t been affected by its construction.

  9. That looks amazing a great unity statue that will be recognized to the world.congratulations for the record hope you will make it.

  10. I do accept as true with all the concepts you have offered to your post. They’re very convincing and will definitely work. Still, the posts are too brief for beginners. Could you please lengthen them a bit from next time? Thank you for the post.

  11. An interesting discussion is worth comment. There’s no doubt that
that you need to write more on this subject matter, it may not
